One of the most joyful highlights was the Khan Mak procession — a vibrant, symbolic parade led by the groom’s family. Carrying auspicious trays filled with betel nuts, traditional sweets, fruits, and gifts, the procession represented sincerity and respect as the groom formally asked for the bride’s hand. Playful gate games and shared laughter added warmth and charm to this beautiful tradition.

The ceremony continued with the engagement and ring exchange, followed by rituals that paid respect to both families — a touching way to honour parents and elders and formally unite the two families.
