A Thai-British Love Story in the English Countryside
Some love stories bring together not only two people, but two cultures, two families and two different parts of the world.
For Wales and Tom, their wedding was exactly that.
A Thai-British couple with two wonderful children, they celebrated their marriage at the beautiful Clock Barn in Whitchurch, Hampshire, surrounded by family and friends.
Set in the English countryside, the venue created a beautiful and intimate backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter and a wonderful sense of togetherness.
A Little Bit of Thailand in the English Countryside
Although the wedding took place in the UK, it was important for Wales to bring a part of her Thai heritage into the celebration.
As a Thailand wedding planner, Serendipity Wedding House had the honour of travelling from Thailand to the UK to give an experience of a traditional Thai water blessing ceremony for guests.
Family and friends gathered to offer their blessings and good wishes, taking part in a Thai tradition that was new and exciting for many of the guests.
It was a particularly beautiful moment — seeing British and Thai cultures come together naturally, surrounded by the people Wales and Tom love most.
Rain Outside, Warmth Inside
The wedding took place in November, when the British weather can be wonderfully unpredictable.
It was cold and rainy, but somehow that only made the day feel warmer.
Inside, there was laughter, love and the happiness of having everyone together. And at the heart of it all were Wales and Tom's two children, making the celebration feel less like the beginning of a family and more like a celebration of the family they had already created.
From Thailand to the UK
For Serendipity Wedding House, this wedding holds a special place in our hearts.
It was our honour to bring a little piece of Thailand to the English countryside and to be part of such a meaningful celebration.
It also marked an exciting new chapter for us — taking our experience as a wedding planner in Thailand beyond our home country and beginning our journey as an international wedding planner.
But above all, this was simply a beautiful wedding for two people who brought their worlds together.
